Effect of different carbon and nitrogen sources combination in medium for production of biocontrol agent Trichoderma harzianum

The increasing usage of chemicals for plant protection in recent years has become a serious problem. One the possible solutions is use beneficial microorganisms instead synthetic fungicides, which will contribute to environment and human health. Since fungi Aspergillus flavus Fusarium graminearum are most important pathogens that cause maize diseases produce mycotoxins, potential Trichoderma harzianum biocontrol both phytopathogens was examined this paper. aim paper study influence different carbon nitrogen combinations medium T. production. cultivated Erlenmeyer flasks effect cultivation broth against selected tested using well diffusion method. results showed combination sources statistically significantly affects production effective on two phytopathogens. Dextrose as source soybean flour proved be best A. F. graminearum. Maximal inhibition zone diameters 31 mm 56.33 were registered those formulations graminearum, respectively. These researches represent an step further research low market value would selected. This reduce price process but also final product.
